Relax with the whole family at this beautifully renovated Cabin in the old coal mining town of Wilkeson. Set on 2.5 acres, this wooded property will provide you with the connection to nature that you've been looking for. Deer and other wildlife are abundant, plus enjoy looking at the stars without all the noise and light pollution of the big city. The Town of Wilkeson has an excellent pizzeria, soda shop, saloon, and some other great local spots that we're sure you will enjoy.
Fresh linens, blankets, and towels are provided for each bed, and there are a couple extra blankets and pillows just in case you need it.
Upstairs you'll find the largest bedroom with 1 king size bed and a sitting area plus a large closet. If you have small children and they wanted to sleep on the floor in this room, there is more than enough space.
In the second bedroom upstairs, you have 1 twin size bed with an excellent mattress ready for adults, and then underneath it is a 'trundle bed' that easily rolls out and is great for kids/teens.
The downstairs bedroom is a den / bedroom combo with a convenient workspace area. It's setup with a sleeper sofa that easily pulls out into a bed with linens provided inside the chase of the sofa. Kids/teens will do fine on this couch, adults who like firm mattresses may be ok here too. The final place to sleep is the leather couch in the living room.
Everything is brand new. Stainless appliances, quartz counters, soft close cabinets, fresh carpet, you name it! In the winter you will get some snow, but nothing that an AWD drive vehicle can't handle. The driveway has a nice slope to it and is great for sledding.
You'll find some indoor activities such as board games, puzzles, cards, books and other goodies provided for your enjoyment. In the living room is a 58" Samsung SmartTV, preloaded with some complimentary content apps such as Crackle, Tubi, Plex, and others, or log into your Netflix, Hulu etc.
The kitchen is stocked with all the cooking essentials you'll need, plus some extras such as a Keurig coffee maker, crockpot, toaster, tupperware, baking sheets, and other everyday use items. You'll find some consumable basics stocked such as salt and pepper, ketchup and mustard, cooking oil, coffee creamer pods, sugar and sugar substitutes, and a few other small items as well. If you're looking to cook meals, you'll need to stop at the grocery store to pickup your supplies.
The back concrete patio has a nice outdoor dining setup with exterior propane heater for those chilly nights.
The laundry room comes with laundry detergent, and there is also some basic cleaning supplies present if you need to do some tidying up during longer stays.
