This historic waterfront home was built in 1947 during the time that Caledonia Beach was busy with boat builders, fishing, and the settling of the first non-indiginous people. The mosquito fleet docked their passenger vessels on a pier in the bay where the pilings still stand today. The house underwent a complete renovation in 2018 and has all new plumbing and electrical as well as some exquisite detailing. The home sits on the edge of a bulkhead and has a spectacular view of all the marine life including seals, sea lions, river otters, whales, cormorants, eagles, ducks and many other interesting creatures. There are patios at either side of the home for enjoying the sunsets, as well as a massive patio on the level above the home that houses a large pavilion, bbq, chaise lounges & gardens. The upper level of the home is vacant and will be locked and inaccessible during your stay. Enjoy waterfront living at it's glorious best and feel free to use the kayaks and paddleboards provided. Caledonia Beach is a rockhunters paradise with carnelian agate as its prized find along the beach between Dash Point Pier and the Browns Point Lighthouse. You will feel like you are on vacation every day! Home is available July 2023, and October 2023-March 2024.
