Our quaint cottage is located at the back of Wollochet Bay in Gig Harbor - it sits on the water's edge overlooking the estuary beyond. Staying here means views of tideflats, seabirds, and watching the tide come in and out. The cottage sleeps four guests comfortably in 700 square feet. You'll enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, high quality linens, and outdoor living including a fire pit.
*Please note that while the cottage is waterfront, the beach goes completely dry and is very muddy.
*The primary bedroom and bathroom are located on the main floor. There is an additional queen size bed in the loft but it may be challenging for those with limited mobility as it is accessed by a ladder.
We live in the harbor too, so we are nearby if needed!
Gig Harbor is a beautiful, charming, historic fishing town located in the South Puget Sound. Wollochet Bay is one of several saltwater bays within Gig Harbor.
The cottage is located on a private, neighborhood street - great for walking. It is about a 5 minute drive into Historic Waterfront Gig Harbor which has several bars, restaurants, and shops.
The home is located 15 minutes to Tacoma, 45 minutes from SeaTac International Airport, and an hour from downtown Seattle.
The entire house is yours during your stay! However the lower level is owners storage and it locked from guest use.
*THIS IS NOT A PARTY VENUE. This is a quiet neighborhood with a peaceful environment full of wildlife. Only 4 guests maximum. Guests that attempt to bring more guests without permission will be asked to leave immediately without a refund.
