The space:
You won't find a property just like this one. Our place is tucked back on a secluded private road in the heart of Gig Harbor, with massive trees and horse paddock/pasture views. Keep in mind because it's horse property, you won't be able to utilize the entire 5 acres as recreation space. However, there's plenty of outdoor space and there are multiple apple trees, blackberries, Asian pears and grapes around the property that you're welcome to eat off of when they are in-season. The house is roomy and well appointed so you have the modern conveniences of the city with the serene and gorgeous backdrop of the lush countryside. Plus, the brand new hot tub makes and peaceful surroundings are totally worth the trip!
Guest access:
Everything to the right of the driveway is our property. The pasture and horse paddocks are ours too. There are very clear fence lines and borders. Please do not enter the neighboring property or take a stroll on their side just because there's lots of space. They hate that.
Other things to note:
--This is a 5-acre property on a private road. However, as the aerial photos show, this is an equestrian property where some of the acreage is the pasture and horse paddocks. This means the outdoor "hang out areas" are really on the back deck, patio and grass area.
--The driveway can comfortably park two vehicles. Even though our drive going down is long, it is ONE-WAY only and down a steep grade, so unless you feel very comfortable with your ability to back up the hill, I would highly recommend parking along the tree line where it is flat.
--We finally were able to upgrade our internet through Starlink (Elon Musk's satellite internet) which comes with decent speeds that range from 35MB to 175MB. So any reviews referencing the slow internet are from the olden days! You should be able to make calls, stream movies, send emails and maybe even hookup a video game system.
