Summary: Very poor check in. After a 24 travel window we arrived at the hotel early. We were told we couldnt check in so waited 2 hours in reception to see fellow guests getting their keys and checking in?? No issue in waiting if we have too, unfortunately as soon as it was 4pm we were called over to get our keys. The booking was pre paid and we were told we had to pay again by a gentleman that had just come on shift. After we showed our proof of payment and declined to pay anything further apart from taxes the said gentleman said it was a communication error as it was a third party payment. No apologies. As you can appreciate at this point we were very frustrated customers. We have used this hotel many times over the past 4 years and had no issues. We are frequent travellers to france and after long journeys your staff previously has been attentive, polite and always helpful. We have 2 further visits planned and pre payed, however going forward we will be looking for a different hotel as this visit was appalling. Very disappointing as the hotel has always given us everything we needed on our journey.
