Our vacation home is located in a stunning setting in the Bavarian Forest, in the state-recognized resort town of Lohberg, with views of the Großer Arber and the Bavarian Forest mountains. We offer two comfortable and cozy vacation apartments on a south-facing slope, each with a large covered balcony (Panorama View Apartment—55 m²) or terrace (Arber Garden Apartment—70 m²). Enjoy the peace and quiet and the magnificent views: you’ll look directly out onto Lohberg, the Großer Arber, and the surrounding mountains. Choose one of the two vacation apartments in our house, a very charming Bavarian-style home in a quiet location, yet still within the Lohberg area. Here, the Bavarian Forest often reveals its most beautiful side. The alpine ski resorts and cross-country ski trails are just a few minutes’ drive away. An idyllic natural swimming area in the heart of town is just a few minutes’ walk away. If you enjoy hiking, you’ll find ideal conditions in the surrounding area—plus, it’s usually fog-free here. A comfortable and cozy vacation apartment for 2 people with a fantastic view of the Bavarian Forest mountains. The vacation rental features a bedroom (double bed), a living room with a kitchenette (including an electric stove, refrigerator with freezer, coffee maker, electric kettle, and plenty of dishes), and a separate dining area. The bathroom is equipped with a shower and toilet and features a window and a towel warmer. If you’d like to sleep in separate rooms, you can use the sofa in the living room. Enjoy the view: The large, covered balcony offers protection from intense sun, wind, and weather and invites you to linger. You’ll look out over the village of Lohberg toward the Bavarian Forest mountain range. Thanks to the high knee wall, the rooms are fully usable, and the sloped ceilings and wooden ceilings add an extra touch of coziness to the apartment. Because the house is situated on a slope, you’ll reach the apartment by going up one flight of stairs in the stairwell, even though the balcony is actually located on the upper floor. Cancellations made up to 5 days before arrival are free of charge; cancellations made within 5 days of arrival will be charged at 100% of the total cost. A prepayment of 100 EUR of the total price is due after booking. The balance is payable in cash on site. Check-in is available from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM (alternative check-in times by arrangement). Please let us know your arrival time 2–3 days before arrival and arrange the key handover with us (in person or by drop-off). Check-out is from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM! Pets are not allowed. A crib is available; please inquire about additional beds (a baby counts as one person: 10 EUR/night). A visitor’s tax of 1 euro/night will be charged separately on site for guests 16 years and older (children 6–15 years: 0.50 EUR/night).
