GUEST ACCESS

THINGS TO NOTE
Parking: You have exclusive use of one enclosed garage and two driveway spots. Please note: there is no street parking available. Use the garage and driveway only.
Fireplace: Available for use November through April only.
Grilling/BBQ: No grilling or outdoor cooking on the premises. The deck and balcony are for relaxation and dining.
Beach Etiquette: Please carry out all beach trash and follow "leave no trace" principles.
Security: External security cameras monitor the property exterior for guest and home safety. The alarm system provides door and window announcements only.
Quiet Hours: 10 PM to 8 AM. Please keep noise at a considerate level.
Smoking: No smoking or vaping inside the home or on decks and balconies.
Events: This is a personal residence rental, not a venue. No parties or events are permitted.

In winter, the park's trails are great for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. Marquette Park has Lake Michigan beach access with lifeguards in summer.
GETTING AROUND
A car is recommended to fully explore the area. You have three parking spaces (one garage, two driveway). Biking is a fantastic way to explore—the Calumet Trail is a paved multi-use path through Indiana Dunes National Park connecting beaches, trailheads, and nearby towns. Bring your bikes or rent locally; the garage has room for storage.
The South Shore Line gets you to downtown Chicago in 30-45 minutes—easy day trip without dealing with city parking. Distances from the property: Chicago (45 min), Michigan City (20 min), Valparaiso (25 min), New Buffalo, MI (40 min), Paul H. Douglas Visitor Center (5 min). Miller Beach's galleries, restaurants, and beach access are walkable from the home.
